It follows Swiss law

You can use proton mail with tor, it only records your ip for the first login, plus no you don't get jailed, swiss law yes, but they don't contact the authorities at all so no jail even if you are in europe or wherever unless you are in a national wild hunt, its only when they get a court order they are able to release user data, Proton mail has its tor domain just for this. So yeah its still a very reliable mail for the darknet, just use the tor domain problem solved lol
