From what I understand, you can buy a prepaid card without ID but to register it you need to provide credentials otherwise it won't work, eliminating the point of the card which is anonymity. But is there a way to get one without giving away personal information? I will need to put a decent amount of money onto it so a gift prepaid card won't work (you get reported for putting more than $1k on it) and besides, gift prepaid cards are often not accepted as payment.
