i did some research here privated hosted vps are secure and you dont get usually get caught but recently i am quite hearing some hacker get caught and they pravite hosted vpn how can they get caught with that?

and main thing is there any other thing or trick like proxy chain or like vps that you can stay more annonomous or secure
